Otto Kayser,
1940 born in Vienna.
In 1975 first meeting with astrology.
Follow 5 years of intense self-study and critical selection (confrontation with historic, astronomical and psychological backgrounds).

From 1980 concentration on practical examination and professional application. Between 1981 and 1992 a multiplicity of public lectures and courses on cultural centers and the German “Volks-Hochschulen” (people’s high schools = an adult education program). Longer stays abroad in different countries of Northern and south Europe, in the South Seas and south east Asia. Analysis of collective, ethnic and cultural appreciations of astrology. Membership in two German astrology associations.

In 1990 degree of the German Astrologer's Association (DAV = Deutscher Astrologen-Verband). Quick withdrawal from the associations, getting better to know their practice, who does justice neither to my experience, nor to my psychological or scientific claims – who appears to me almost grotesquely (DAV prognoses to Helmut Kohl/ German reunification in 1989-90).

In 1991 removal to Southwest France, artistic activity. Since 2000 summary of my astrological experiences in form of the "kosmogen" time analyses, which should reduce astrology to a contemporary, psychologically realistic and scientifically accessible form. More about the author [X•X] ?

Cosmogenetic research

Astrological research ?
Of course, in this case one can not expect examinations in a scientific sense. Human feelings and destinies are relatively, they are not objective facts for the purposes of things. How you can measure qualities or feelings, as for example stinginess, jealousy or love - or even succeses? Today we frequently overestimate the general validity of scientific thinking. Therefore up to now, statistic examinations about astrology turned out to be little usefully. On top of it such examinations are enormously (time-) consuming and sumptuous. This applies even more for biochemical examinations. In the first one psychology seems competent to the examination. However, that’s more an exception, that psychologists are busy with astrology. The separate psychological schools - and there are many of it - have mostly to do enough to differentiate itself of each other.

In astrological research, above all, it would be necessary the connection of technical and psychological understanding, a critical connection of theory and practice, an experience of many years and first of all, intellectual probity. For experience, it comes less to have calculated an enormous amount of charts, but first of all, one should know the calculated persons quite well - and this in sum cases over years. Only so you can check out the theories in life. And the condition for this test is an absolute probity, and not a smart commercial sense, or ideological blindness. However, both often happen with astrologers. By circumstances, this may be humanly excusably; however, for astrology on it's own behalf, it doesn’t make the slightest bit of progress.

The here presented Analysis of Time has come out according to the aforementioned criteria, a decade-long critical and practical work. Here, the courses and workshops, which I organized during the 80-ies, have a quite essential part in it. However, the public acknowledgment of this work is enormously complicated, because one gets so to speak between all only possible chairs, and one no gets supports, already no serious public ones (excluded in show business and popoular press). Almost always, just with a certain progress, it is quickly again destroyed by ideological power struggles. A good press calls immediately into action the lobbies of church, psychologists, physicians or scientists, which then start a powerful counter-campaign. And if one uncovers any piece of mischief with the astrologers himself, one is immediately insulted by them as running his own family down, and subsequently ignored.

So naturally in the public, one can get nowhere, and very little can be changed, because knowledge progress first of all comes about by interdisciplinary co-operation. So astrological research resembles of a Sisyphean task.

Certainly, the people likes a glimpse ahead, however they are hardly interested in the nature of astrology. Theses are the hopeful fatalists, which complicate the work of Otto Kayser, a native Viennese. They expect exact instructions and a painless recipe for the accomplishment of there life ..........

In the council room nothing mystic or extrasensory: a computer, wall shelves fully of specialized literature. Also Otto Kayser doesn’t give an impression of a modern shaman. His researching, clear look expels him, however, as a good observer. Evidently, he doesn’t want to rely only on the stars ..........

No more place for astrology in the VHS (adult education program) on account of religious recommendations. Therefore now, the courses were organized in private initiative with the astrologer Otto Kayser, meanwhile moved to France .........
